Berkshire Records Office have very recently made the records available. Have a look on their website. |

Can anyone suggest how I would research my relative, born 1832 in East Wellow Hampshire, who is on the 1871 and 1881 censuses as an inmate of Broadmoor? I would like to know something about why he ended up there, the offence, the trial etc, and also how long he was in there for and whether he died there. Any suggestions gratefully received. |
