nope I definately don't have them like someone else has said it now has a little padlock next to it. I have access to census records etc.

I am rather annoyed actually, as they should of contacted people, especially if renewing memberships automatically and you dont have the same access as before.

I am going to write a complaint.

Well my account tells i have UK Membership, after reading the comments on here i checked to see if any info i could access had changed. As far as can see i stiil have access to the Scottish Census records , all the parish and Pallots records, nothing has changed. My subscription expires next June

Perhaps the Gnomes of Ancestry havent got to me yet, but if they do i am not paying £107-00, will use that money to "pay to view" the 1911 records when they become available on FMP

I've just noticed exactly the same thing - I can't access the parish records or Pallotts marriage indexes anymore whereas I could before :-(

I've definately lost the access, there is a little padlock by them now!

Update: I've just checked, apparently the Parish and Probate Records and also Pallotts marriage index are only available with the UK Premium Membership (£107.40) and not the UK Essentials package (£83.40). What a swizz, they never mentioned that now did they!!!

Hello Siobhan

Are you sure you have lost the records on ancestry ?. They have changed the home page so that you can customize it yourself as to what you want on it. If you click the option (customize your page) top right hand, you can select what you want on it. You should find the records there.

I have a subscription to ancestry, which has just automatically renewed itself as it does.

But now I no longer have access to some of the records, such as UK incoming passenger lists and probate records.

Have they changed the subscriptions, seems a bit of a cheek automatically renewing when they have changed the records you have access to.

Not sure it is worth the money anymore.
