I have been searching for a marriage certificate for a long time now. I have the date of marriage, the names, the parents names, the ministers name, the witnessess names. What I cant find is where to get the certificate. The marriage took place in Dunfermline, Scotland in 1861. I have tried Scotlandpeople with all combinations ranging from full info to next to no info and it just is not there. I cannot find anything in Ancestry either. I am not asking for someone to do the work, just to point me in a direction I have not thought of, please. |
