Bit of a long shot but have you checked the deaths overseas index? Perhaps they remained UK citizens. |

Yes - I went through those yesterday. I have also been through the UK death entries from 1954 to 2000. There is always the remote possibility they are still alive in their late 90's. I am trying to find them as they have a living nephew, or in the case of their son John, a cousin, the only surviving relative who would love lo know what happened to them. |

Jackie: Even though I live in California now, my family and I are originally from Canada. We are all still Canadian citizens. My father passed away four years ago (in California). His death is still not registered on the Social Security Index. And yes, he did have a SS number. Perhaps non-citizens aren't registered as quickly???? |

Thanks Lisa. Do you think it may be a case of just waiting to see? With a name like Sanders, it's like looking for a needle in a haystack. I have also posted the family on the Sanders most wanted list, again with no luck. |

Hi Jackie: I really don't know why my dad isn't listed! As far as Leo and Gertrude...my mother-in-law is 95 years old, so there's a chance that Gertrude is still alive (Leo as well). I did see you've been busy posting information about the family (I was trying google searches for you). I will try to think of other things to do. |
