I have an instance of somebody who was sometimes Eleanor, sometimes Ellen, sometimes Helen. She was definitely the same person though. |

In Census records and in lots of Bmds the names Ellin.Ellen..Eleanore etc are very interchangeable and seem to me to depend on who wrote them down and how good their hearing was. |
