Hi,
Im really stuck at where to go next with my search for my great grandmas date of birth. I have her death certificate and the place it says she died, but it cant be the place she was born because there is noone born with that name in berwick. Where do i go from here? if i can.

My great grandma:
annie craig
berwick upon tweed
died 28th march 1926
age 36

She was never married and had one son my gf:
william craig
berwick upon tweed
born: 27th March 1926

Also her sister i found out was called elizabeth craig.

Was that her married name or maiden name?

That was her maiden name.

So she never married? That's too bad because the marriage cert will give her father's name.

Theres a name of her aunt but i cant make out it properly it looks like: m.cackhurm. or cackhurn but i could be totally wrong cause it doesnt sound right.

Could this be her....registered as Ann not Annie? Her middle name is Cockburn which could be the name of her Aunt.
