Very odd isnt it. And what is the fraction about and someone has also rubbed out an entry there.

Is it ok if I ask some of the FTF crowd to have a look at it?

I have been staring at this, blown it up, reduced it, had a magnifying glass over it, left it for a few days and I am none the wiser.

Sorry Sue, as far as I can make out it is "Agila"; written above is out 22/2, and some very faint writing which could be & or E and a y or g! ; could be English ? Not much help I am afraid.

My first thought was Agister but not certain

Usually the numbers mean something but no idea what 22/2
