What will I find on a marriage church record ?

In most parishes, from 1813 on, I think preprinted registers were used (I've capitalized the preprinted bits), so a typical entry (# 123 here) would read: |

Just had a look at IGI batch numbers for Lyncombe & Widcome. There weren't any searchable databases on line...............maybe church contact necessary. |

Thanks Shirley for the information, I do have the names of the witnesses but it did not help finding the parentage of my gg grandfather. |

The Parish records of marriages pre 1837 ,that i have copies of, didn't give any parents name, they would state the bride & grooms names and their status ie spinster/bachelor/widower and may say of full age or minor and whether of the parish . the witnesses sometimes may give a clue to the family. |
