Having a problem with the G R O

Has anyone ever had a problem finding a death on the G R O I know the year span, between 1904 and 1916 but cannot find any record, also cannot find any on other sites. |

Have you been searching the complete index and not just FreeBMD? Have you considered the possibility that the person could have died away from their home town and could therefore be registered in a district other than the one you were especting? |

Her name is Sarah ann oldham she was 21 when she married in 1904 my grandad married again in 1916 as a widower. |

I did see that sarah in stockport i sent for the cert but it was the wrong sarah this sarah was single. |

Have you tried asking for a look up by some kind person on here on the NBI (National Burial Index) or your local library may have it mine does. |
