The Complete Index to UK bmds has to be searched quarter by quarter year by year .... and then repeated to find the full name of the spouse. |

Its more common than you would think - it was more socially acceptable to marry while 'with child', than to have a child out of wedlock (illegitimate - I hate that word!!). |
