Like many others I have Irish Conections. I have had a few positive pointers from iNis that point me in the direction of Counties, Offaly,Roscommon and Mayo. |

Try using Google to find the web site of the Record office you require they usually have details of what is available to research. |

If it is Co Mayo you are looking at try the site MAYO ON THE MOVE if you know the town you can go on the message boards and leave your details,i have found several people who i have had a connection with.Also try Pat Deese site many records for Co Mayo on there. |

Sorry for the delay in getting back.... It never ceases to amaze me on the information and sensible advice (rather than my dream world) that you get off this system. Thank you for the advice, I will be checking out the sites. I am waiting for 3 death certs, an electoral register return for 1878 and have 5 Irish searches to do before I pack a bag. |
