There is every likelyhood that his birth wasn't registered as registration wasn't compulsory until 1875. |

I have been looking for some time for Edward Cannon born circa 1856. The census records show he was born in Oldham. The family had some connection to Oldham because his parents Thomas Cannon & Ann Farrell were married there in 1852. They later moved to Bowling, Bradford. I have searched for his birth cert with no luck. The only nearest thing i could find is the following: |
