Docklands Parish Regisers Online are in the process of transcribing St. George in the East for the period covering 1850. They should only be a week or so more. It costs £3.25 to download an image. |

This must be the birth registry for the 1851/61 George and the IGI baptism records I gave you, I have also found him in 1871 married to an Elizabeth who is only 16, with a 1 month old child. So looks like this one is definetly not your George, strang coincidence about the father being called John and also a shoemaker though. Where is George living on his marriage certificate, ? who were the witnesses, this will all help track down the right parents and ensure you follow the correct line. |
