Have I got the correct birth certificate for my Grandad James William Macdonald? |

Start with what you know for certain. If James William McDonald is your grandfather which of your parents is his child? You need to get the birth certificate of either your mother or father (whichever is James William's child) to find out what the certificate says for parents names. Then look for the marriage of these two before you start looking for your grandfather's birth. |
