They are not name indexed unfortunately, they are listed in area / street order so you would ideally need an address. Otherwise it could mean looking through the whole of Liverpool for the people you want. |

Can anyone tell me what information is required to find names in the Electoral Rolls of the 1920/40 period? I don't have any addresses for instance ( unless I gave those on some of the wedding certificates I have ) Would just names do? I thought maybe if I gave 2 to 4 likely names for one household, it might narrow things down. This would be for Liverpool ( I live 200mls from there). I was given to understand that only information for recent 'Polls' were available on the net?? I certainly can't find any older ones. Thanks very much. |
