Has anyone any idea how I can trace the origin of my husbands ggg grandfather. He was born c1800 and married in london 1833 - I also have reference to him disolving a business partnership in london 1832. He is listed as from foreign parts on the 1841 census then went and died before 1851 when there seems to be more detail! Have just ordered his death cert but don't expect any help from that so seem to be stuck. Also unable to track down either of his sons in 1851/61 so wondering if they could be abroad but no idea in which country I should be looking. |
