Hi Paul, Can you be more specific with your details? Do you know their parents' names? Each State's Library has an 'Ask a Librarian' service (query form on-line) -they will check electoral rolls for you -but you would need to know approx when he/she arrived -and their full name. ........... NSW/BMD is on-line - deaths show parent's names. Other States aren't so good. ....... Valerie (W Aus)

Thanks for looking SuffolkSue.
Really not sure what to do about looking for those who may have imigrated.

Would be nice to know about possible relations in Aus.

I know nothing about them...and Im sure they know nothing of me...who knows.!

Thanks anyway.

I was thinking of findmypast.com, the passenger lists only go up to 1960.
Don't know if there is anywhere else on the net that goes any later.

CRIPES_A_MIGHTY Report 25 Jul 2008 09:47

HI All,

Hoping someone could point me in the right direction as to finding out about relations who possible imigrated.
I was told a story of an aunt who imigrated to Australia before or around the time I was born...but never been able to prove this.
I have two possible names:

Bessie E Wilson
Leslie W Wilson

I was also told the story of an aunt who died in a boming raid in WW2. But again...never been able to prove this.

The two names above are the possbile candidated for the positions.

I am of the belief that..Bessie was the one killed in the air raid and Leslie the one who imigrated to Australia..but ..again I haven't been able to confirm this. I am unable to find a Bessie Wilson dying during ther period 1939 -1945. And as I don't know how to look for folks who have possibly imigrated..Im at a dead end.
Any ideas and tips would be most welcome.

Thanks in advance.
Paul
