Do you know if his parents married before or after his birth? What are the parents names on the cert you have of John James Bull? |

i knew him as john james houchin but the cert says john james bull, sorry.ive wracked my brains.someone just sent me the 1901 jersey census and he and 3 sisters are on it so i dont even know when he moved to kent.all i know is that stockbury in kent was home to a lot of houchins so i never questioned that the graves in the churchyard wre my gt grandparents.now i dont know if they are any relation at all |

What are the two surnames in question? Is there a chance of someone mishearing the "proper" name? |

He could have changed his name for all sorts of reasons, not necessarily by adoption. |
