I can't see them on either the 1891 or 1901 censuses, so it looks as though they might have left the UK between 1882 and 1891! |

hi pam. my great grandfather was also a sydney. because he shortened it to sidie and used that all day everyday. he eventually started writing his name as Sidney. don't ask me why. perhaps i just have an odd family! alo his wife's brother was Sidney ACTUALLY spelt with an I. |
