Hi- I was just going to confirm some of the details as Walter was my grandfather known as Bill for some reason ! I was just having difficulty confirming his parents were Emily Ray & James Dixon Hay but I guess now they are- many thanks

Don't know his parents' names as yet Christine.
All I have so far is word of mouth from my Aunt.
Have ordered his birth certificate, so should get that soon.
Will speak to her later today and try to see if she can remember any more info.

Just checked for births and there is a James Alfred so obviously wrong family.

What were his parents names?

Could some very kind person please help me with a look up.
I've tried to find the birth of Walter George Hay in West Ham 1907, but with absolutely no luck. I've also been searching censuses for James Dixon Hay born West Ham 1883, again no luck at all.
I think maybe my old eyes are looking but not seeing!
