hi i wonder if anyone could give me any advice. i am planning on seeing if i can look at the parish records fro the death of about 8 children of charles and sarah wilde they all died before they were 1 year old and died between 1867 and 1884. i know i could send off for the death certs but i cant afford that at the moment.
what would the parish records of the deaths tell me. that is if they are available for me to see.
the deaths occured in croft/culcheth in lancashire so i wondered if the church in question would have any records or if lancashire records office would.
any advice would be great
thanks linda x

Sometimes a vicar or clerk will make a note against a burial entry, eg. died of smallpox...so it is worth looking at the PRs.
