Can anyone tell me the best way to order documentation on-line, pref to read online, and for the cheapest cost?? I have to order quite a few and the chepest I have found is £7 but you have to wait for them to be delivered. |

There are some unscrupulous firms who offer BMD certs at astronomical prices - always go via the GRO or the local records offices - sometimes local offices charge a little more e.g. £7.50 but it varies between offices. They are worth using if you have a query with a cert as you can send a cheque with a self stamped address envelope - if your request doesn't match the cert - they post back your cheque - but with the GRO if they do reference checking you have to pay. |
