How to verify IGI details

verification can only be done by viewing the original documents. |

You have to look at the original records whether that be in the church or a record office or looking at a film of the records that are held by the IGI people. |

Please can anyone tell me how to verify pre 1837 details found on IGI a I am well and truly stuck. The information was submitted by another researcher and sems to fit but I cant ffind the ancestor in any census records post 1837. Any suggestions would be appreciated. |
