I have the name of Private 33994 George Samuel Downes and that he was with the 3rd Kings Liverpool Regiment during the 1st World War, but can find no details by putting in his details. I would appreciate some help please. have tried just putting in george and missing out Samuel - to no avail. This is my great grandfather and his army details were on the birth certificate of his son born whilst away. By trade he was a brass cutter. |
