Ahhrrrggggg
As Keith said I had the UK & /Ireland box ticked and also i hadnt got the exact matches only ticked, so it appears to be ok now, and it now looks like it is taking notice of my date ranges and mothers/fsthers name on searches
I was about to ask for a refund on my sub, good job I didnt as it was my fault

Sounds like they've put you on their new search system. If you've got your tree on Ancestry type in a name from your tree, they'll give you a list of people with that name in your tree, click on one then search. When the screen changes look in the top right hand corner, there's a yellow box that says go back to old way of searching or something

Have you got the box ticked for "Only show reuslts from UK and Ireland"
Sounds as if you have got it ticked, if so, from the next page, click "census and voters list" then "see more" this will bring up all census lists.

I thought that too, so I have just given the new search button a click and then pressed the revert button, and it is still the same,
Another thing that is different s the birth and death year.

Sounds like youve got new type search top right should be a revert to old type searching button

For better results please give all the details ,name, date place as you can {pictures by me }

It is driving me mad, I (or maybe they) have changed the home page.
It used to have name, country, county, now it has all sorts of things, and when I enter detail and press the search button, it snt organised in census order telling me how many hits are in each census, they are all in a long list with a star rating at the side. Is this a new format or have I done something to change it in error?

Please can someone help me
