This is very puzzling,i found a marriage between,William John Jackson and Ellen Carter Dec 1888 Aston Warwickshire.6d 428,can anyone look up for a marriage in Ireland maybe???
Also on the 1881 cencus it has William down as head and Ellen as wife,what does lodg mean???

Thats the one i found,couldnt find them together in 1891???Still dont know when and where they married,im thinking maybe around the 1880 mark as i cant find any children,i found a ellen Jackson passed away in 1897

I found him on the 1861/71 and i think the 1881,i found him on the 1891 possibly in prison in Devon!!He was a widower when he married Emma Rowlett in 1899

Have you got the 1899 marriage cert as there are several options. Would show if he was widower.

Do you have him in 1901 to trace back through the census.

One poss but born 1858 Islington with wife Eliza

Im trying to find a marriage for william john jackson,he was bornn 1852 Islington his father being Charles,mother Mary i have been given a wife Ellen born Ireland,cant find any marriage record.checked everywhere i know but to no avail!! He must of married prior to 1899 as that was when he married for a second time
