I have just got some more Leicester photos, which I will be adding to Lost Photos in the next few minutes.

On the back of a baby photo it says:

I am just finding out on Ancestry who this is, when I find out I will post the info here.

I have found a couple of photos in a Leicester Oxfam which I have added to the website today.

One is of a little girl which looks like 1800s. The studio it was taken by isSeville & Co Granby Street Leicester.

There is another which says on the back:

Robert Dale, brother of Elizabeth Oliver nee Dale

If you recognise either of these people, please pm me either here or on Lost Photos and I will email you a copy.

For anybody that doesn't know:

http://lostphotos.sgrboards.org/

Is a website where you can add your family photos if they have people you don't recognise in or if you have photos that you want to share with other people in the hope that they will recognise them.

There is now a section for photos of people in Uniforms and a section for different counties if you know where the photo was taken.

We are now in the process of contacting various County Historical Societies in the hope that they will advertise this website and maybe photos that have been submitted from the same counties.

Anybody can add photos to this site, but if anyone has any ideas or wants to contribute in any way to advertise this site please contact Admin at:

http://www.sgrboards.org/index.php

Thank you,

Vicky X
