Would someone kindly do a look up for the 1891 census for the above? In 1871 he appears to be in Leeds, as his father, Richard was Mayor., and the family later lived in Harrogate. In 1881 he was a patient at Draycott House in Worcester which would seem to be a private house. There's a servant listed as a nurse and another as a lunatic attendant though i don't know if this was for Arthur.
i can't find any more records for Arthur after 1881.
Thank you , Rita

HI Rita

Had a look on 1891 but Arthur not listed. I assume he has died.

Hi Pam,

Thank you for your help. I can't even find a death record for him. Seems so sad.

Hi Yorkie,
Thank you so much, you've been so kind. Arthur's father was twice mayor of leeds and had a leather factory. They lived in a large house with servants so must have been fairly wealthy. i found articles on Richard Gallsworthy , but though other sons were mentioned there was nothing about Arthur. In 1891 he appears to be living with the same Kent family , as in 1881 also at Draycott house.
