TBH I find Ancestry quite hard going. I have several people on my tree that I found here on censuses, but on the same censuses on Ancestry they don't appear to be there! Probably just me getting used to it I suppose but quite frustrating.

Hope so..I've tried Ancestry just with first names but still can't find them. I don't suppose they were in institutions at 19 & 16, they would have been working

Hi..trying to find Joseph Welsman Gollop in 1891. He was born c1846 St Pancras London. He had 2 son's, I think his wife dies early 1891. The son's were :-

Joseph Thomas Gollop born 1871 St Pancras

Edward Joseph Gollop born 1874 St pancras..died 1920
here they are in 1881 on Ancestry

1881-6 Drummond Crescent St Pancras Somers Town London-Joseph Gollop head 35 chairmaker Middx St Pancras, E(lizabeth) Gollop wife 32 St Pancras, Joseph son 9 scholar St Pancras, Edward son 6 St Pancras,

I've found father Joseph in 1901..there are often spelling mistakes with this name..any help would be appreciated
