I can find my my gx4 granddad's marriage in 1839 and his death in 1842. He was Abraham Jackson Hewson and lived and died in Scarborough. However, how do I trace any further back? Do I need to go to Scarborough, or are there ways of doing it on the internet? I'm a member of ancestry so is there a way of tracing him through that? I can't even find him on the 1841 census! Please help!
