Could anyone tell me where Kingston is as this was where my grandfathers birth was registered in 1915

Have you tried to Google kingston and see how many there are...........the only ones I know are Kingston upon Thames, or Kingston Jamaica.

If he was registered at Kingston in 1915 then that would be Kingston upon Thames in Surrey about 15 miles from central London.
