Hi Paula, Linda and Gerry, Thank you all so much for the great help you've given me, I shall definately look into the mother & baby homes as well as contacting the library doh!!! why didn't I think of that! honestly sometimes you do wonder where your brain is don't you!!!! Mine must be overworked or clogged up with rubbish.

Some definately possibilities there and will check them out. Thanks again the list is wonderfull I din't know they were so popular or so many in the North West.

Thanks again, and sorry for the late reply, (I'm working too much obviously)

Regards, Lou

Hi Jacqueline, I'm not sure if that's the one I am after as I thought there was one in Bromborough, but I will certainly check it out. Thanks again to you all for responding, Regards, Lou

Would that be Bromborough, Wirral, Merseyside? Lancs?

It helps members help you if you put the County.

Does anyone know if there was in the 1950's a Mother & Baby home in Bromborough on the corner of Croft Avenue East? And if so do you know the name of it please?

Thanks Lou
