Is the 1841 the earliest Irish census available? I have a few different branches of my tree from Ireland both Northern and Eire

For most of Ireland, only the 1901 and 1911 censuses survive, although there are a few exceptions. For more details, see: http://www.nationalarchives.ie/genealogy/censusrtns.html
