Lena Ormrod is listed in the following two census returns, but she is nowhere to be seen in the 1901 census. She was alive and didn't marry until 1902. There is one in 1901 but it isn't the same one. I have also looked in Scotland.

Cant see a Lena Head or a Lena Wright on the 1901!

Hi folks,
Yes she did have a daughter, Elsie May, before she married in 1899. In 1901 this child is lised as the daughter of the head of the family! She was in fact Lena's daughter . . . . but where was Lena? Also yes Lena did marry A F H Head in 1902.

Well . . . . . it looks as though she has definately gone to ground !
I wonder where she was in 1901.
