Do you have year of birth .....or parents names

Vanessa

Vanessa Report 20 Apr 2008 20:35

Just thinking, it says his son-in -law's name on the deth certificate of R.C.Dunn. That is dated 1968.
So as I don't know exactly when he left my nan, anytime between 1934 and 1950?

Vanessa

Vanessa Report 20 Apr 2008 20:31

I have my nan's marriage certificate 24/02/1933
George Albert Huggett married Ada Payne.
I have a copy of his death certificate 19/07/1968 and it shows his name as George Arthur Huggett.

Unfortunately there is no-one alive to talk to who would know.
Many thanks for any assistance.......

There may have been a prosecution in that case.

Roughly when did it happen?

Are your grandparents still alive?

I guess the only way is to
"know" through talk or find it by "accident" on the census records.......

Mine came to light coz my mum after 63 years read her birth certificate for teh first time PROPERLY and found 3 maiden names on it ....

Good Luck Vanessa

No such thing as bigamy records, unless they were found out and one or both of them was prosecuted.

Many people committed bigamy, and few were found out.
