I have come across a GGG Grandfather in the 1841 Census born 1775 and marked as "F" in where born. I have no idea where to start looking and would appreciate guidance from all you knowledgable folks! Member Since: July 2004 Posts: 1,057 Send Message	Hi Janet, Was he still alive for the 1851 census it might be more specific. I had the same thing happen to me with an ancestor on 1841, fortunately later census stated country and county. best of luck Helen

Member Since: April 2004 Posts: 5 Send Message	Thanks for responding Guys. The surname is Haskill and I will "google" it to find out any history. The christian name is Erikiel but on the 1841 Census is shown as Erbert. Unfortunately by 1851 Mrs Haskill is shown as a widow!
