My great uncle died in WW1. I have found a reference in the GRO War Deaths Index but don't know whether this is like a death certificate. Can anyone please tell me what this is and how i get a copy. I can't find any reference to it on the GRO website. |

IF he died in WW1 his death should be on the CWGC website.....it should give his date of death and where he`s buried, and his family details if known, you can then print it all off like a certificate. |
