Their elder daughter was born in Holland in 1871 so it would be a fair guess that that is why I can't find them earlier. They obviously moved about a fair bit. I'm more looking for tips on how to find a Jockey, if anyone else has one in there tree etc. |

I have just received the marriage cert for an ancestor. I'd not been able to find her birth and she is listed on the census as born in Rome, as a British Subject. It was a bit of intrigue so I was eagerly waiting this cert. Her father is listed as Henry (something) Cook and his occupation is Jockey. Her mother on the 1881 is a widow so he must have been deceased at the wedding in 1888. |
