Lahin in this case is Lilian...........Ancestry have mistranscribed it. Check out the birth reg'n on freebmd

Hi I have a family with the following unusual names and I wonder if anyone can tell me anything about them?

Dad is called Jabez (1862)
one of his daughters is called Lahin (1896)

Jabez appears on several docs so I know its not an error.

Any ideas? Cheers
