I found last night that if I repeated the request a few seconds later .... it worked, sometimes.

Getting the worng images was quite common a few weeks ago! I though they had solved that one!

Ancestry is being a pain today.

Getting that message now on 1861 and 1891 census.

Not sure what is wrong with the site.

Oh bother.

It is playing up again on 1851 census.

Been using the site for an hour without problems and now getting that message.

Had that last night when trying to view 1901.

It's still bringing up that message on some census images, so annoying.

Had the problem yesterday trying to access the full BMD registers. When I did manage to get on, none of the images were the correct ones. That's some glitch.

Have had that a couple of times today, twice when trying to open the image of a census, and once just now when trying to open the 1841 Census from the list of censuses.

Other searches have worked well, both before and after .

so it seems to be a bit of a glitch
