Can anybody help? We are trying to trace my husband's family and find that quite a lot of them were coalminers both in Scotland and the Doncaster area. Does anybody know of a web site or any other way you can get info of employees. Some of them bless them were down the mines at 11 years of age - suppose that was alongside the pit ponies and canaries - isn't it awful? Any hints or tips would be greatly appreciated |
