I know i keep putting this on threads but I hate the idea of peeps getting stung by sharks!

If you want to buy a BMD cert, here
is the addy where you can buy it online..

http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/

(tip)Never pay more than £7
(another tip) for a marriage, you only need
put one partners name when ordering.

If you are ordering online from the GRO,
make sure that when the form asks
"Is the full GRO reference known?"
that you tick the "yes" box.

If they knew the names and occupations of their fathers, the info will be on the cert....it's a legal requirement.

I want to order a marriage certificate for some ancestors, but am unsure as to how useful it would be, My Great-great-great grandparents, Patrick Connor and Bridget Reynolds both moved to England individually and married here, however both their fathers stayed in Ireland.
Would their father's information be on the marriage certificate regardless?

I need to verify the names of their parents in order to continue finding information

Thanks
Ben
