Registration District for Whitechapel

Census gives place of birth as Whitechapel (Mddx?) c1852. Can anyone tell me, please, which Registration District would cover BMDs at that time?

WHITECHAPEL REGISTRATION DISTRICT
Registration County : London.
Created : 1.7.1837.
Abolished : 1.1.1926 (succeeded by Stepney district).
