Hi all
If anyone has access to parish records in Sheffield would be a great help.i'm looking for a George Richmond born about 1786,he married a woman called Ann Drake born around 1786.
I know they had a child called Charles richmond 1808 but i cannot get any info for George from the census and want to know if George had any siblings or extra children with Ann.
Also what Georges Parents were born and where they were born.

Any info would be fantastic.
Regards Ian

Contact the Sheffield Archives at Shoreham Street, they will do their best to answer the odd query. Give them the details of George and Ann and they will look it up for you, and tell you if there are other children if they can find them easily.

I assume you have tried IGI for this information first?

Regards

Margaret

Hi, If you go to www.sheffieldrecordsonline.org.uk
They are transcribing parish records. They have some already on line. You will have to register with them. Many will help as they have access to the Sheffield Parish church which is now the cathedral.
