Can anyone help? I am trying to trace the birth of a relative and know he was 25 when he got married in 1891 but cannot find him in BDM registers on line. Does anyone know where else I could start to look for him? The 1901 census states he was born in Camberwell. |

Registration was not compulsory then - approx 1866 - so you might not find any entry. |

I am looking for Walter Sydney Kendrick. We know from his marriage certificate that his father's name was John. |

Walter's occupation was Commercial Traveller. With regard to this father, the writing on the marriage certificate is not that clear. We think it is either Corn Chandler or Comm Chandler |
