Has anyone got the Adopted Childrens Register for 1987 or a list adopted boys for 1987. |

The Adopted Children register is not on line sadly. You have to go to the GRO to look at it, and it is only the 'new names' not any form of cross reference to the 'birth name. The GRO has/or is in the process of moving I think to Kew. There is a contact register that you can leave your name on as 'wanting to find' and/or 'wanting to be found'. You have to pay for both halves separately, and it is purely a matter of luck if someone is looking for you. |
