can't read death cert.

Unfortunately I don't have a scanner but, I think phoning the GRO is the best idea.

If you contact the GRO they are usually quite helpful and are more used to reading old fashioned writing. Just tell them that you can't make out what it says.

If you are able to scan and send the certificate by email, then let us know and plenty of people will send you there email address and try to decifer it for you.

Hi Alice,

Thanks for the kind offer, unfortunately it's the signature, description and residence of informant I can't read, it's quite illegible. I didn't know if I could ask the GRO to hand write it for me, do you know if I could.
