Pop up blockers blocking tree!

GR are up to something. I have not made any changes on my computer settings, yet from this morning my GR tree is being blocked by my pop-up blockers.

It is OK, as I simply had to go in to my browser and reenable them BUT why has it started to happen out of the blue?

Anyone else having weird stuff like this happening?

I use Firefox and haven't experienced anything untoward.

One possible explanation could be that Microsoft may have recently uploaded a security patch which has tightened up your explorer security settings regarding pop-ups.

Peter, you could be right. It is working fine in Firefox as I've just tried.

I've had to give up with trying to access it in IE6 as the tree will not open at all at the moment.

If this is happening to other people, then those without Firefox are going to get very frustrated today!

I've just discovered the individual I entered and saved onto my tree this morning (when I had IE6 open) did not save after all. This is most odd as that person had been visible when I went back to add another piece of info. Not showing in Firefox. Hmm, makes no sense!

I haven't tried Ad-blocker plus so have just installed it now and had a little play with it.

GR seem to use a number of sources for their adverts but if you set filters such as

http://view.atdmt.com/*
http://sam.itv.com/jserver/*
http://ad.doubleclick.net/adi/*

you will start to see the ads being blocked.

I like the look of this.....!

Could be Google Toolbar if you have it. Try holding down the Ctrl key.
