Thanks so much. I started wondering if I just wanted it to be Spennymoor! |

The writing is very poor. I think it's more like Spennymoor than Spingnoon. |

I have been looking for my great grandfather (born 1862 in Spennymoor) and his family in the 1871 census, and think I have found him. His parents are shown as Mary Ann and John. It shows that this James was born in Spingnoon Co Durham, but I think this has been mistranscribed. Can anyone out there please tell me if they agree? |
