Hi Ken,

This might be a good place to start with:

My great grandfather, and a couple of his sons (in the family Acford) rose through the railway ranks (variously in the Midlands, the Lancashire (Preston) and Cumbria areas. Where can I find relevant information about their carrer / progress, and how do I access it (can I do it electronically?).

Regards

Ken Pugh (Aberdeen).
